How renting a plot works.
There is no application process and no waiting list. Most growers go from first message to planted beds inside a few weeks.

Nothing here needs farming experience. It needs a plot, water and someone willing to be on it regularly.

Tell us roughly what you want to grow and how much space you think you need. We will tell you honestly whether one plot is enough.
Walk the farm
Come and see it. We meet you at the gate, walk the blocks, show you the water line and the plots that are actually free.
Pick your plot
Choose a plot, or two adjoining ones. It is pegged and numbered, so you know exactly what you are taking on.
Agree a term
Six or twelve months, paid monthly. The plot agreement sets out the fee, the term and how water is billed. Nothing else is hidden in it.
Prepare the ground
Clear, plough and make your beds, either yourself or with our land preparation service. Manure and compost can be brought straight to the plot.
Connect the water
Your meter is read and recorded on the day you start. From then on you are billed only for the units you use.
Plant
Seedlings are available on the farm. Plant it yourself or have us do the transplanting for you.
Grow it on
Weed, spray and harvest on your own schedule. Take extra hands by the day when a cycle needs them.
What it costs
Everything you pay, in one place.
- The plot fee
- From KSh 2,000 a month, paid monthly for the length of your term.
- Getting connected
- A one-off charge at the start to meter your plot and run the pipe to it.
- A deposit
- Refundable, held for your term and returned after the final reading and inspection.
- Water
- Metered on your plot and billed separately, by the units you use.
- Anything you ask for
- Manure, seedlings, land preparation, labour. All quoted before the work starts.
There is a growers’ group.
Growers on our sites share a WhatsApp group. People ask what is worth planting this season, what a pest turns out to be, and where they are selling. We are in it too.
It is free and it is not compulsory. Plenty of people here are planting for the first time, and the fastest answers usually come from someone two plots over who tried the same thing last season.
Ask to join the groupWhat it is not
It is not farming advice from us, and nothing said in it is a promise about what your plot will do. What you plant and how you treat it is your decision. If you want the work done properly by someone else, that is what the paid services are for.
Come and see the land.
Walk the plots, look at the water, and pick the one that suits you. No pressure to take anything on the day.
Or just call +254 700 000 000. We pick up.
